EXCAVACIONES PASTOR, S.A. (EXPA) considers the Human Resources Department its top priority and believes that human relations, whether in the technical, administrative or production sectors, are a key factor in the working environment.
As a result of the degree of specialization required in our sector, our staff must be trained in the use of machinery, available to change location according to project requirements, willing to enroll in continual training (due to the constant updates required by the Quality Control and Safety Regulations) and be flexible in adapting to the company’s working and production system.
For this reason, EXPA is required to retain and train all the new members of the team so as to continue with the same production model that has proved so successful.
As for the technological and administrative side, EXPA is interested in keeping up to date with innovative procedures in computer science, management, processes, legislation, etc. We apply a training and updating process by means of training courses, meetings, etc.
Furthermore, EXPA has a database of skilled labour and qualified professionals for prospective recruitments. 90% of these professionals have already worked with our machinery under the supervision of our foremen and technicians, so as to be assessed on their level of knowledge and skill in the use of the machinery which they are specialized in. Our database complies with the Spanish Personal Data Protection Act (Ley de Protección de Datos Personales) currently in force.
